Ever heard that mental "tap tap tap" or the silent "twiddling of the thumbs" ...
Too polite to speak out loud but ready to go, father stands and waits..
While mixed emotions cross mothers mind including guilt for leaving and joy at the chance to dance once again
whilst the maid dreams of other places gladly waiting for mother to call and enjoying a momentary break
